We used to have a Big Bird video that was titled, Everyone Makes Mistakes. It was a great video about Big Bird making mistakes and then trying to cover them up instead of being honest. My kids loved it, the message was great and it was a wonderful way to teach them the importance of being honest and the importance of owning up to their mistakes and then apologizing for them. The best part was that I never had to utter a word.
