About The Coach

I am married and the mom of the three adult daughters so I can tell you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It is possible to raise responsible, caring adults. I know this because I have three of them.

The most important job that I have ever had is that of a mom. I have been an elementary school teacher, a pre-school teacher, a tutor of children with ADHD and learning difficulties, and I have even owned my own pre-school, but nothing compares with being a mom.

At times I have been, but not limited to being, a good mom, a bad mom, an OK mom, an anxious mom, a proud mom, a disappointed mom and occasionally a great mom –all of those “moms” have taught me so much.

All five of us in our family have the gift of ADHD. There have been so many good times “unwrapping” our gift. This gift has also been at times hard to handle but when all is said and done I would not trade any of it.

Being a parent is not easy. It takes a lot of work but it is possible to be a calm and connected parent. You just need the right tools. I was fortunate that I reached a point in my life where I wanted to understand if I could be a better Mom and am forever thankful that I found the person who taught me those tools and enabled me to raise my children in a calm and connected household.
